Mr. Alan Ingraham

Instructor, GMP IV, Gifted Math Program

Alan Ingraham received his bachelor's in Mathematics and his master's in Mathematics Education from the University at Buffalo in 2005 and 2006. He is certified to teach Mathematics grades 5-12 in New York. Mr. Ingraham has taught in the city of Buffalo and at Buffalo Prep, a high school preparatory program that partners with UB for gifted minority students in Buffalo. For the last 10 years, Alan has taught Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2 Trig, Precalculus, and AP Statistics at Lewiston-Porter high school.

Mr. Ingraham has a love for mathematics and a love for teaching. When he isn't teaching math, he enjoys being active playing sports. He has coached basketball and volleyball at his school for multiple years. He also loves spending time at home with his wife, Deanna, and 4-year-old son, Micah. Mr. Ingraham is thrilled to be a part of the UB GMP.
