GMP Course Credits Transferability

GMP I through IV (7th through 10th grade)

Can receive credit for GSE 120, 121, 122, 123, a total of 6 credit hours. We recommend these to be transferred as general elective credit, but not credit toward a major. These courses were taught on the University at Buffalo campus.

GMP V and VI (11th and 12th grade)

Can receive credit for MTH 141, MTH 142, MTH 241, MTH 309, a total of 16 credit hours. We recommend these to be counted toward any math or science major. The following conditions were met for these 4 courses:

  • taught on the University at Buffalo campus
  • taught by a college faculty member
  • taken in competition with degree candidates of the University at Buffalo*
  • taken as a regular part of the curriculum of this university.
*The GMP section is open to UB undergraduates, but is rarely chosen by them. These are honors level courses, which meet for 1 extra hour per week. Curriculum and textbook is the same for all sections.
